The call Joe received this morning came as a huge surprise! The PM I wrote about in my last post left Ryan Homes. We have a new Project Manager. I'm sure our new PM will be great, but I'm kinda sad.
RH sure seems to lose a lot of people. Our original SR quit as we were a few weeks into the process and I've seen several other bloggers post about losing SRs and PMs.
Thanks M! I've always been a little bit worried about this happening because of what I've read on other blogs. I guess I thought our community was an exception. Our original PM had been in the community for quite a while. He was the PM on all the homes in that phase except one. Our lot is one of the last to be built on, so that's quite a few houses!
It does seem like Ryan Homes has an extremely high turnover rate. Hopefully your new PM works out and does a great job. We are pleased with ours so far, but both of them are leaving after the 1st of the year (LOL). So it's true, they don't seem to be able to keep employees. Makes you wonder a bit.
:-(

ReplyDeleteThat's great to hear that you're pleased with your PM so far. It sure does put your mind at ease.
DeleteIt seems like they move PMs and SRs around a lot too! The job must require a lot of traveling. I don't envy them.. that's for sure :)
